In a world full of fear, where love slowly slips away and becomes something unattainable, we encounter unfortunate individuals, such as Raša and his demanding, ailing father. He lives on the brink of existence just before the apocalypse and becomes the caretaker of an old hotel, where he meets strange characters with whom misfortune is a shared state. He meets the Hero, trapped in a moment of the past where he lost his wife and child; he meets a boy from an orphanage who helps this Hero make a film to remember what happened. Raša also meets the boy’s friend, with whom he escaped from the orphanage, and above all, Raša meets a girl he falls in love with but can never have. They all love, and they all ultimately lose their love. Meanwhile, in the world beneath us, bugs are going through a similar struggle for love…
