Rainmaker Production is the first one to shoot the first two seasons of “The Traitors Serbia” back-to-back
Belgrade-based production company Rainmaker Production is filming the first two Serbian seasons of hit reality format “The Traitors”, with the pair of instalments being produced back-to-back, making it the first production company to do so.
The order marks the launch of the format in the market, with the upcoming runs representing the first two seasons of “The Traitors Serbia” ever made. Production is now underway in the capital, Belgrade, as Rainmaker moves to bring the globally successful unscripted title to local audiences.

All3Media International’s “The Traitors” has become one of the most in-demand entertainment formats in the international TV business, with local adaptations in 40 territories across Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand, with multiple returning series and companion shows also commissioned.
The Traitors was recently named as the top-selling new TV format of the decade so far in a recent report by K7 Media. The format combines competition, strategy, and deception, with contestants working together to complete missions and build a prize pot while trying to identify the “traitors” in their midst.

The Traitors Serbia season one will air in the fall of 2026, while season two is set for the spring of 2027.

The Traitors is an intense psychological adventure in which treachery and deceit are the name of the game. Contestants come together in grand surroundings to complete a series of challenges with the objective of earning a cash prize. The catch? A number of the contestants are chosen to be “The Traitors” and meet in secret to devise a plan to eliminate their fellow players, called “The Faithful”.
